Happiness and Wellbeing at Totnes Progressive School

Happiness & Well-Being classes allow all students to recognise and enact our unique strengths to help navigate the challenges and expectations of modern-day society. It helps us increase our motivation, maintain positive mental health, and to flourish in all areas of our lives. It also helps us to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes we need to manage many of the critical opportunities, challenges and responsibilities that we will face as we grow up. 

We explore ways to keep ourselves safe and healthy, and how to build self-esteem, resilience and empathy. Happiness & Well-Being lessons help tackle barriers to learning, raise aspirations, and improve the life chances of us all.
