Teaching Assistant Vacancy
We are looking for a committed, flexible and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistant to support a visually impaired secondary aged child within our school.
Starting from November 4th 2019.
This role will require a forward thinking, creative approach combined with resilience and determination to improve outcomes. You will need to be highly organised, pro-active, versatile and resilient.
Responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining a bespoke environment and following planning produced by the teacher, together with direction from other professionals.
Regular meetings with the SEN team will support you in this and all aspects of your role. Medical training may be required.

You should be an effective team member, prepared to use your own initiative to set goals and action plans.
You should be prepared to work with both the individual and groups of children when required.
Candidates must have experience of working with children with special needs within a school environment and be able to assist up to GCSE level.
